Taylor'd Gardens

West Vancouver

An old, chafer beetle infested lawn is replaced with a garden made for strolling and relaxing.
John Taylor listens to client's ideas and objectives and a design comes together with artistic sensibility and solid workmanship.
The process is enjoyable, the result a gem.

An unused area at the side of a house is transformed into an enticing walk through ferns and hostas.
From twice a year garden "walk throughs" to determine how every plant is doing to tree pruning, John is brilliant. He considers everything - light, the size of the plant, soil, traffic flow, privacy, even the birds.
I so appreciate his ability to understand what I am trying to achieve with my garden.

Cambie Street

A small front garden showcases a client's love for bold foliage.
We completely trust John to do what he thinks would be/work best for our garden. He knows what we like, the look that we want to achieve and we are very confident that by leaving him to it our garden will look unique, amazing and continue to grow healthy, strong and vibrant.
Taylor'd Gardens is a rare find.

South Granville

A terrace garden on the shady side of a ground floor condo unit. Larger shrubs and trees block unsightly views while a cool colour palette keeps interest within the garden.

East Vancouver

A relaxed garden featuring lush plantings and colourful play-spaces. Its character slowly and constantly alters in response to changes in use and changes in the plantings' suitability.
