Taylor'd Gardens
Cambie Street
This garden sits at the forward edge of a south facing property on a residential street of old oak trees. Next to the sidewalk and backed by a low boxwood hedge, the site is shady. It is a garden meant to be enjoyed from the street.
Whenever she comes home, the client revels in the bold foliage, the varieties of green and the textures. Her enjoyment is shared by passersby who stop to comment and often take pictures.
The garden is mature but not static. The plantings are adjusted every year to try new combinations, to replace plants that are suffering and to add more of what is working.
